Our Meetings
Learn about Academy of Africana Indigenous Religions, Theology and Arts Meetings
(a.) The Academy of Africana Indigenous Religions, Theology and Arts will organise regular conferences in Africa or the African Diaspora. In Global Africa, these conferences should preferably be organised together with relevant Institutions within or outside the Continent. Prospective participants in these conferences will be registered as participants, whether they joined Academy of Africana Indigenous Religions, Theology and Arts as members or not.
(b.) The Executive Committee meets at least twice every year. A quorum shall be formed when no less than half of the members of the Executive Committee is present on line or in-person.
(c.) The Advisory Board of eleven (11)-persons shall be appointed by the Executive Committee and meet once every year at own costs on-line or in-person.
(d.) The Academy of Africana Indigenous Religions, Theology and Arts General Assembly meets at least once every year, hybrid or virtual. A quorum shall exist when at least a half of the members attend is present.
(e.) The General Secretary shall draw up minutes of the General Meetings, the Executive-Committee Meetings, and the General Assembly.
(f.) The Academy of Africana Indigenous Religions, Theology and Arts Treasurer shall publish an annual Report of Academy of Africana Indigenous Religions, Theology and Arts finances in each Feb. issue of the Academy of Africana Indigenous Religions, Theology and Arts Newsletter.
(g.) The Executive Committee shall publish an account of its policies, and its administration of the Academy of Africana Indigenous Religions, Theology and Arts funds, in the Academy of Africana Indigenous Religions, Theology and Arts Newsletter well in advance of the Academy of Africana Indigenous Religions, Theology and Arts Annual General Meeting.
BYE-LAWS
There will be bye-laws to expatiate on areas that are not fully covered by the Constitution or explained further the Articles of the Constitution
